The Board of Governors of the Architectural Engineering Institute recently created the Young Professional Council (YPC) to bring young architectural engineering professionals together to engage the next generation of leaders and to strengthen the architectural engineering industry.
CSD Structural Engineers
Josh graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) in 2015 with a BS in Architectural Engineering and MS in Structural Engineering. He has been involved in AEI as a Vice President and Treasurer at MSOE, AEI National Student President, and is currently a member of the Student Design Competition Committee. He will serve as chair the Council.
Andelman and Lelek Engineering, Inc.
Allyson graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in 2016, with a B.S. in Architectural Engineering, and from Stanford University in 2017, with an M.S. in Civil Engineering. She was an AEI National Student President (2015-2016) and Secretary (2014-2015). Allyson currently works for Andelman and Lelek Engineering, Inc. as a Project Engineer, where she provides energy consulting across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
C.D. Smith Construction
Greg graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) in 2018, with a B.S. Architectural Engineering – Structural and a B.S. in Construction Management. Throughout his time at MSOE he was involved with AEI by attending each of the conferences and forums during that time. He served as MSOE AEI Social Chair, MSOE AEI Vice President, and was the AEI National Student President. He also took part in and presented at the AEI Student Design Competition in Omaha. Greg is a Project Engineer with C.D. Smith Construction in their Milwaukee office. C.D. Smith Construction is an industry leader in safely providing the highest quality commercial construction services on projects of all size across the United States.
Mary graduated from The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State). She served as the AEI National Student Vice President 2016-2017, and participated in the AEI Student Design Competition (SDC) 2017-2018. Mary is currently working for the SmithGroup.

Leo A Daly
Cody graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Omaha Campus) with his Master’s of Architectural Engineering (MAE) in May of 2018. During his graduate year, he participated in the Student Design Competition (SDC) contributing to the electrical design category for the addition to the Children’s Hospital in Omaha, NE. Currently, he is working for Leo A Daly in Omaha, NE as an Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) on projects locally, nationally, and internationally.
